Caroline Wiles is a talented singer/songwriter who has over one hundred and
fifty songs in her catalogue. Her writing styles include pop, folk, country,
jazz and humorous. Caroline's voice has been described as warm, lush and
soothing. She plays guitar and harmonica and began performing professionally
in 1984. Caroline's passion is songwriting. Her song "Little Boobs" won first place in the humor category for the Ontario Council of Folk Festival's "Songs from the Heart" competition 2004. Her song "The Man That I Love" and "The One" earned her honorable mentions in the 1997 and 2000 Unisong International Songwriting Competition. Her song "I Believe" also won an honorable mention in the 2000 John Lennon Songwriting Contest. "Be Good To My Girl" another track from her CD is featured on two of Dr. Allan Armitage's "This Is Gardening" CD ROMs. All of these songs are available on her two CD's: “Caroline Wiles” and her latest release, "I'd Like To Know”. Caroline is an independent artist who does her own booking and promotion. She performs regularly with vocalist Brenda Chisholm playing originals and a wide variety of cover songs. Caroline's objective is to continue a healthy balance as a Mother, Dental Hygienist and performing Singer/Songwriter, and to someday have her songs recorded by a well known commercial artist. |
